Rules
- Distance : The distance to be covered is 80 km. It must be completed within 20 hours.
- Start : The start is between 05.00 and 07.00 hours a.m. on Saturday, 3 April 2010. Both the start and finish will be at the Stadssporthal, located near the railway station. Sittard is situated 20 km north of Maastricht.
- Rules : It is only permitted to walk, march, or speed-walk. Running or jogging is not allowed. Rules can be adapted to disabled participants. Roads are flat and hardsurfaced. The route is marked by arrows.
- Registration:
- Advance registration is possible until 23 March by paying the fee into the Rabo Bank account of Stichting Kennedy-Mars Sittard, # 13.50.22.169, (IBAN number NL 94RABO 0135022169; BIC/SWIFTCODE RABONL2U) Participants will then receive their entrycards at the start on 3 April.
- At Mulders Berg- en Wandelsport, Molenstraat 10 in Limbricht from 2 March till 2 April, but only at Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 10.00 and 18.00 hours.
- Registration is also possible at the starting point at 04:15.
- Awards : Following correct completion of the march participants will receive commemorative pins.
- a bronze pin for first time completion of the march
- a silvered pin for the second time
- a medal for the third time.
- a number of subsequent completions.
- Participants must take care of their own luggage and beverages. At the five resting places participants receive free apples and free sandwiches. Stopping at these resting places is not compulsory.
